Methodology & Transparency (Art. 20 MAR / EU AI Act)

Data sources: Market data, fundamentals, and analyst consensus are sourced from third-party providers (incl. Financial Modeling Prep, Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, OpenFIGI). 13F institutional holdings are aggregated from public SEC filings. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.

Model logic: Assessments are derived from a 7-factor score (valuation, growth, profitability, momentum, analyst consensus, risk, portfolio fit), combined with a DCF fair-value model and a contrarian check. All calculations are disclosed in the report. Natural language output is generated by Large Language Models (Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT).

AI governance: Each analysis includes a confidence score measuring the consistency of underlying data. Personal investor data (e.g., risk-profile cluster) is not transmitted to the LLM. Hallucination safeguards include fact-grounded prompts, source binding, and automated plausibility checks.

Conflicts of interest: TradeMates receives no compensation from issuers, brokers, or fund providers. We engage in no market-making or underwriting activity. Employees may hold positions in instruments discussed.

Update frequency: Analyses are validated against market data on every request and recomputed on significant price movement. Cache TTL is at most 24 hours.
